1. Scope and controller
This policy covers the TORQORA Android application, optional TORQORA cloud synchronization, email-and-password accounts, advertising, notifications, exports, and optional Google Play Pro purchases.
The data controller and publisher is ZenovaApps. Privacy and support requests can be sent to zenovaappsteam@gmail.com.
2. Information processed on the device
TORQORA can store vehicle type, nickname, make, model, year, variant, drivetrain details, odometer, health indicators, maintenance schedules and records, costs, warranties, guide bookmarks and progress, notification preferences, and accessibility settings in the app's private Android storage.
If a VIN is scanned, the full value can be processed temporarily for validation or a user-requested lookup; the application record stores only the last six characters. Receipt images and user-confirmed merchant, date, amount, and line-item information can be stored locally. Local records remain until you delete them, reset the app data, or uninstall the app, subject to Android device behavior.
3. Camera, OCR, voice, and external lookups
Camera, gallery, OCR, and voice features run only after you start the related action. TORQORA does not keep a raw voice recording as an app file. Speech processing can be provided by the Android device or its configured speech provider.
A user-requested VIN, vehicle identity, or safety-recall lookup can send the necessary query to an official or specialist provider. OCR and automated suggestions can be wrong and do not replace inspection by a qualified professional.
4. Optional cloud synchronization and account access
When you explicitly start cloud synchronization, TORQORA may create or use a Supabase identity and synchronize only TORQORA-owned profiles, vehicles, maintenance records, receipt metadata, warranties, guide bookmarks, and guide progress. Receipt files are stored in a private TORQORA bucket. Row-level authorization restricts records to their owner.
Registration uses an email address and password and activates the TORQORA app account immediately under the current automatic-confirmation configuration; no verification email is sent at sign-up. A password-recovery email is sent only when you explicitly request recovery. Google Sign-In is not offered. TORQORA application data is isolated in TORQORA-specific schemas, tables, functions, and storage paths.
5. Advertising and consent
The Free version may use Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform for banner, native, interstitial, rewarded, rewarded-interstitial, and app-open advertising on eligible non-critical surfaces. Depending on consent and regional settings, Google may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, diagnostics, and ad interaction information for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
Safety guidance, active repair steps, account management, purchase, camera, OCR, notifications, and widgets are kept free of interruptive ads. A server-verified Pro entitlement suppresses new advertising requests.
6. Google Play purchases
Google Play processes payment instruments, displayed price, tax, currency, cancellation, and refund handling. TORQORA does not receive card or bank details.
For monthly or lifetime Pro, TORQORA can process product and plan identifiers, purchase state, expiry, renewal or cancellation state, acknowledgement and restore results, and a one-way account binding. Purchase tokens are sent transiently to the verification service and are not kept as raw values in TORQORA tables. Limited hashes and entitlement or audit status may be retained for verification, refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations.
7. Purposes, providers, and retention
Information is processed to provide the features you request, synchronize your records, schedule reminders, generate exports, show consented advertising, validate Pro access, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet legal duties. TORQORA does not sell personal information.
Providers can include Supabase for account, database, and private file services; Google for Android, Mobile Ads, consent, and Play Billing; device-configured speech services; and an application selected by you through Android's share sheet. Cloud records are retained while needed to provide synchronization or until a valid TORQORA deletion request is completed. Security, support, and purchase audit records may be retained only as long as required for the stated purpose or applicable obligations.
8. Security, choices, and rights
TORQORA uses encrypted transport, Android application isolation, private storage, owner-based database rules, and server-side purchase verification. No system can guarantee absolute security.
You can deny permissions, disable notifications, reopen advertising privacy choices, export supported record metadata, delete local data, and delete TORQORA cloud data separately. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability, or deletion by contacting zenovaappsteam@gmail.com.
9. Children and policy changes
TORQORA is not directed to children. If local law requires parental consent for a user, the service should not be used without that consent.
This policy can be updated when features, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the application, store listing, or this page as appropriate.
